If the entire team gets stuck and spread out throughout the multiverse on different Earths, this would both be a fresh issue, any force new characters to come together. This could be explored in a unique way if Avengers: The Kang Dynasty ends on a less deadly note in order to set up Avengers: Secret Wars. The huge hurdle that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will have to overcome is the fact that most of the heroes that will likely be in the movie will be characters who have yet to get to know each other or work together in any capacity. Borrowing a similar concept from Avengers: Infinity War is not bad in itself, but how Marvel Studios go about it is key, given something like having half of the characters die again would be treading on old ground. Due to the fact that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars are more or less a two-parter, it makes sense if the former ends on some cliffhanger notes to get ready for the latter.
